Yury Vyacheslavovich Afonin (Russian: Юрий Вячеславович Афонин; born March 22, 1977, Tula, RSFSR, USSR[1]) is a Russian politician and member of the State Duma of the Russian Federation[2] for the Communist Party of the Russian Federation. Member of the board of the Youth Public Chamber of Russia.[1]
Sanctions
Sanctioned by the UK government in 2022 in relation to Russo-Ukrainian War. [3]
Afonin was sanctioned by the United States Department of the Treasury following the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.[4]
