Jeff Dabe (born 1962 or 1963) is an American heavy machine operator and professional arm wrestler, noted for his oversized limbs. Dabe was the 2021 International Federation of Arm Wrestling's world champion.

Biography

Dabe was born 1962 or 1963[1] and lives in Stacy, Minnesota.[1] He works as a heavy equipment operator and runs a hobby farm.[2][3] Jeff and his wife Gina have three children.[4]

Dabe is noted for his oversized limbs. In 2022, his forearm had a circumference of 20 inches and his ring finger had a circumference of 5 inches. His limb size is not a consequence of gigantism or elephantitis.[5]

Dabe has been arm wrestling since 1981,[2] and was given the nickname Popeye early in his arm wrestling endeavours.[5] In 1996, Dabe injured his right elbow in an arm wrestling match and stopped competing.[1] In 2012,[1] at the age of 48,[5] he returned to the sport, wrestling only with his left arm[5] and becoming the Minnesota state arm wrestling champion.[5]

He is the 2021 International Federation of Arm Wrestling's world champion.[5]
